BUCKEYE WING ASSOCIATION REUNION 2008 BUSINESS MEETING
SUNDAY, APRIL 20, 2008
COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA
1. The meeting was called to order by President Jim Valeri; approximately 40 members in attendance.
2. Minutes of the
2006 reunion meeting were not available.
Jim Valeri and Lance Fairchild will check
their records to see if any notes can be re-constructed into minutes.
3. Treasurer Jerry Millhouse
presented the treasurer’s reports for 2006 and 2007. It was agreed to reimburse him for the
flowers that he sent to General Campbell’s funeral. A motion to accept the treasurer’s report and
reimbursement was made by Lance Fairchild and seconded by Bill Witte.
Motion carried.
4. There was no old business.
5. New Business
The election of officers was conducted and the following
individuals were elected:
President – Jim Valeri, Vice-President – Dana Caldwell,Treasurer – Jerry Millhouse,
Secretary – Karyl Menchen, Board of
Directors-Art Lewis and Bob Zugelder.
Jim Valeri will contact Bob Spears, Tom Tatum and Tom Day to request two
of these individuals serve in the remaining two positions. A motion by Lance Fairchild, seconded by
Gene Fortson, was made to accept and
elect this group of officers. Motion
carried.
Jerry Millhouse reported that due to a change in banking procedures that no longer allow changes by mail, he will move the Association’s accounts from Columbus, Ohio, to the Dayton, Ohio, credit union.
The next reunion will be held in Dayton, Ohio, in August, 2010. The committee will send out questionnaires to see what activities will interest the members and their families.
Rob Menchen volunteered to manage the Hospitality Room Bar and Karyl Menchen volunteered to transition from assistant Webmaster to Webmaster.
A motion to adjourn the Meeting at 9:30AM was made by Lance
Fairchild; seconded by Bill Witte.
Motion carried.
